A concert was being performed at the Performing Arts Center for the young at heart so in order to culturallly refine my family we went. Parents were regular price but kids were FREE! So eight of us got really good seats for the price of two!! Amir and Ariana decided to attend the youth dance that night so Aliyh invited two of her friends to go. So with Caleb complaining the whole way about having to dress up and go to this dumb girl thing, we loaded all of us in the car. Thank you Aunt Daphne for watching Joshua and Aiden! The concert was spectacular and even Caleb had a great time. The symphony and choir joined together to perform musical numbers that children's enjoy. It started off with a number from CATS. A character or two from each number would sing or act out their respective parts. They had Willie Wonka, Wizard of OZ, Ariel from the Little Mermaid came down from the ceiling, Enchanted, Pink Panther, and of course the boys favorite Star Wars. Troopers came down the aisle. Micah was soooo excited. They even had a real light saber duel with Darth Maul and two Jedi knights. Afterwords, the people were in the lobby and the kids took their own pictures and got autographs. It was a fun evening!!
