8 is great!!!

Josh and his ever faithful companion "blankey".
Josh has had a great year.  He is learning and growing up so fast.  He loves to swim and play basketball and video games.  I love to hear his laugh!

15

Claeb turned 15 this August.  Where has the time gone.  He is a wonderful big brother and is so patient with his younger  brothers.  Not so much with his sisters but that is okay.  He enjoys video games, playing football and basketball.  He got his driver's permit but refused to read the book.  He is a very good driver and handled a flat tire like a pro. He has a very good sense of humor and makes me laugh when he supposed to be in trouble.  Still plugging away at scouts and I think he reached six feet although the nurse at his physical would only give him 5'11".

Football

Caleb played football for the first time and absolutley loved it.  I went to pick him up from practice and it was the first time he had his gear on.  I called him on his phone to ask him where he was and he replied, "Mom I am walking right towards you."  I did not recognize him at all. Being almost six feet tall and with all of that gear he was set for playing left tackle.

Backyard Camping

We could not get it together this summer to go camping so it was the backyard for us.  School was starting soon and the kids had a great time.

Poor Micah got pushed by the door.
The boys fight over licking the bowl.  Today was their lucky day-I made two things so there were two bowls.  Heaven-

Girls Camp

The girls went to Seward to camp this year.  They hiked 10 miles to an old military fort, went river rafting (with a hot guide so they say), fishing (Aliyeh caught a fish that they had for dinner), and had a great time!

It's a Pirates Life for Me

Cub camp was a pirates theme this year.

Awesome den chiefs who are always patient, fun and good examples for the boys to look up to.
