Amir celebrated his 40th birthday this year. We threw a party and tried to invite friends and family. We only wish all our friends and family far away could have come as well. It was a fun evening. Aliyeh turned 13 exactly a month later. She asked and received jewelry from her dad.
She scours the jewelry ads for what she wants every week. She is officailly a teenager now!

Ana

Ariana got a new camera for Christmas and takes pretty good pictures. She is having a great time.

New Year's Eve was fun. We had way too much food! Alaska saves all of their fireworks for New Year's because it is too light for the Fourth of July. Of course it is cold but we were lucky enough to see them from our upstairs window. The kids found these horns around ten o'clock and we had to listen to them for two hours. Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful, not so quiet and peaceful day!! We hope you all remember we love you and think of you often.

I was upstairs curling my hair when I thought I heard a lawn mower going. I wondered who would be mowing their lawn in December in Alaska. Mind you it was early Saturday morning. Joshua said it was Daddy. I told him it couldn't be. Anyway curiosity got the better of me and I went to find out what crazy person is mowing their lawn. Sure enough it Joshua's Dad! I asked him why he was mowing the lawn? He replied, " I just wanted to say that I mowed the lawn in December."

5th Birthday

Micah turned five! He was really excited for his birthday to come. He kept saying years for days. My birthday is in two years. Anyway he got these pajamas and will still barely let me wash them before he puts them back on. He told everyone, "Autobots roll out." when we were getting in the car.
