Chocolate Cake

For a month before Joshua's birthday he has been telling me that he wanted a chocolate cake for his birthday. So that is what he received. Although I heard him whispering to Micah, "I did not want that chocolate cake." Next time I will ask for further details.
Joshua is a sweet boy that knows what he wants. Just try and talk him out of things. His favorite movie is Scooby Doo and he loves to play knights. We love you Joshua!!

Caleb turned 13 this year. The children were quick to point out that I did not put 13 oreos on the cake. I was quite proud to have it looking so neat and symmetrical. Caleb is a good brother and friend. He is very compassionate and is addicted to those video games. I think he was a little too excited to light those candles.

At scout camp this year they learned to ride a horse. I do not think Caleb has ever had this privelege. Caleb said he had fun!
